MAGAL Ltd. was founded in 2005. We specialize in designing and conducting static and dynamic engineering tests and measurements, and evaluating motor vehicles, sailing vessels, trains and aircraft.

We provide a unique comprehensive range of services in Israel – a ONE STOP SHOP that includes testing, standardization and an automotive laboratory – and we market testing and measuring equipment.

This combination together with our advanced engineering capabilities and our representation of leading international laboratories allows us to provide our customers with comprehensive solutions without involving additional entities.

MAGAL has five main departments:

• Engineering – designing and conducting experiments, measurements and tests in accordance with international standards. The company’s engineers come mostly from the automotive field, expert professionals who strive for excellence with the highest standards of work ethics.
• Standardization – performing European and American homologation and standardization procedures for vehicles that deviate from manufacturer specifications, including exclusive representation of the DEKRA, IDIADA and TRC laboratories.
• Israeli automotive laboratory – MAGAL-Afeka – an authorized national automotive laboratory, the operational branch of the Israel Ministry of Transport and Road Safety (IMOT) for testing all types of vehicles.
• Marketing testing and measuring products – we provide a broad range of professional testing and measuring equipment – the same equipment that we utilize for conducting our own experiments and measurements, which provides us with a distinctive advantage of practical experience, precise adaptation and optimal integration in the field.
• MAGAL Rail - MAGAL is the sole representative of DEKRA Rail in Israel. The DEKRA Rail unit in Europe is one of the leading TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) companies for train systems providing the highest international standard of quality and safety.
